'Ringing In Hope' with 'Bells of Remembrance'

Sept. 11 traveling memorial joins annual charity event at Brambleton Town Center on New Year's Eve.

Three large bells, weighing in range from 400 pounds to 1,700 pounds, from the Bells of Remembrance Project will be at the New Year's Eve Ringing In Hope charity race at Brambleton Town Center Monday.

The bells are courtesy of the project, which began in the days following the 9/11 attacks. The bells have been rung across the states including Carnegie Hall, 9/11 commemorations in New York, Shanksville, PA, and Arlington, VA, and at other events and monument dedications. The bells on site for race day are used for celebratory events.
