Stone Bridge Boys Soccer "Kicks for Cancer" Tuesday

The charity event, which supports the American Cancer Society, highlights Senior Night.

The Stone Bridge High School boys soccer team will hold a fundraising event dubbed "Kicks for Cancer" tonight, May 10, when they host Liberty District rival McLean in the last regular season game of 2011. Members of the Stone Bridge DECA club will be selling T-shirts at the game to support cancer research by the the American Cancer Society.

will also celebrate Senior Night as they recognize the nine senior players and two managers on the team. The Bulldogs will be looking to improve their district standings as they head into the playoffs. The team ranks third in the district with a 6-1-4 overall record, but can move into second with a win.

The JV team starts things off at 5:30 p.m. and then the varsity squad kicks off at 7 p.m. Anyone looking to support this great cause should head out to the game.
