There was a wide variety of entertainment available to the local community Saturday to celebrate the success of the shopping center.

The Village at Leesburg hosted it's third annual Summer Block Party Saturday, benefitting Loudoun Mobile Hope, a program that supports the needs of precariously housed and at-risk youth.

Family activities were available throughout the day including live music, an appearance by children's performer Mr. Knick Knack!, face painters, a balloon twister, acrobatic juggler, Cirque du Soleil stilt walker, sidewalk sales, prizes and more.

Inova Loudoun Hospital's Mobile Health Services Bus was on hand providing free health screenings, a cooling station and basic first aid.
