Twenty Six Seeds of Love for Newtown Cafepress store to raise money for Newtown

As Ashburn residents, we felt so far away from Newtown, but still wanted to do something to help. Through our FB page and Cafepress store, we hope to make a difference.

We have created our Twenty Six Seeds of Love for Newtown Cafepress Store in order to raise money for the Sandy Hook School Support Fund.  All profits go directly to the Newtown Savings Bank/Sandy Hook School Support Fund and never touch our hands.  We have recently added a Virginia is for Newtown shirt.  Please check out our store at one of the following links:

or through our facebook page- Twenty Six Seeds of Love for Newtown

Thank you!

Dear Shopkeeper, I want to applaud you for your heartfelt effort. Immediately after the tragedy, I met with our marketing team to entertain the idea of making a campaign to support the victims' families. We ultimately decided that our genuine intentions could be misinterpreted and some folks may feel we were trying to make money from these horrible events. Instead, we quietly made a donation. I am pleased you are able to use the resources of Cafepress, along with your dedication and effort, to make a difference. I will be making some purchases from you store and it shouldn’t be overlooked that you are a great artist as well as a great human being. Thank you for being part of the Cafepress community, Bob, the CEO of Cafepress

Wow, I can't believe you know about our little store. Thank you very much for your kind message and support!

Maybe the CEO of cafepress could reduce some of the costs on the base price of the items in the shop, thereby increasing the profits that will actually go to Newtown? Just a thought.
