Dulles Regional Chamber Gala Honors Local Businesses

The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce held its annual gala on Saturday night with the theme of Stars Over Dulles.

About 340 people attended the event, which benefitted the USO programs, including the Emergency Food Assistance Program and Operation Basic Boot Camp, among others. More than $17,300 was raised for the USO through a paddle auction, with Del. Ken Plum (D-36) serving as the auctioneer.

Other guests of note included Sen. Mark Herring (D-33), Del. Tom Rust (R-86)—both of whom represent parts of Loudoun—Herndon Vice Mayor Lisa Merkel, and Council members Grace Wolf and Bill Tirrell. Jenet Ahn, owner of Annalee's Formals, chaired the gala.
