Pet Pantry Aims to Cover Struggling Families’ Furry Friends

Donations, now in need throughout Loudoun, can be given at retailers, animal shelter, kennels, vets and more.

The Loudoun Pet Pantry has distributed more than 1,500 pounds of cat and dog food since its start at the beginning of last month. But more help is needed.

Currently, the shelves are almost bare. The need of families seeking assistance with their pets is great, and Loudoun Pet Pantry organizers are seeking community support with stocking the shelves.

Those interested in supporting the Loudoun Pet Pantry can contribute bags of dry cat and dog food between three and 10 pounds and canned cat and dog food.  Specific sized donations allow volunteers to create kits that are distributed at Loudoun Interfaith Relief.
