Ringing In Hope Packs ‘Em in at Brambleton

More than 2,000 participants joined the second annual Ringing In Hope Walk Run & Fun New Year’s Eve winter race at Brambleton Town Center, raising money for a range of worthy local causes.

10K Winners

5K Winners

• Ry Hu, Ashburn, 17:08
• Amy Passauer, Ashburn, 20:22

Awards also were handed out to the top three overall male and female finishers in both races, as well as the top three finisher in each of the following categories: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80-plus. Complete results can be found online.

Racers enjoyed hors d'oeuvres at finish line while 1K walkers received bells to ring in the New Year. Activities included pony rides, a barrel train ride, face painting, tattoos, music, moonbounces, family portraits and more.  

Upon registering for the races/walk, participants were given the opportunity to designate their race proceeds to the participating charity of their choice. This year’s race beneficiaries include:
