13th Annual Evolution Cycling Grand Prix Sunday
Evolution Cycling, a competitive bicycling club based in Northern Virginia, is coming to Ashburn Sunday, June 22 for the RGS Title / Prosperity Home Mortgage Brambleton Town Center Grand Prix.
Evolution Cycling Club's 13th Annual Grand Prix bicycle race will take place Sunday, June 22 at Brambleton Town Center in Ashburn.
The race is expected to host hundreds of cyclists from across the Mid-Atlantic region who will compete at Brambleton Town Center's new venue, which features a six-corner, 1-kilometer course.
Prosperity Home Mortgage, LLC, RGS Title and Long & Foster Insurance, Inc. will host the event.
Races begin at 8 a.m. and continue throughout the day, including children's races for ages 4-6 and 7-9 beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Pre-registration ($35) closes at midnight June 19. Same-day registration ($45) begins June 22 at 7 a.m. and closes 20 minutes before the start of each race. Joining a second race costs $15 during pre-registration and $20 the day of the race.
Proceeds from the event from the event will support The Raisin Hope Foundation to fund brain injury research and promote public awareness and understanding of people with disabilities resulting from brain injuries.
