Jazzercise and Williams Martial Arts Team Up to Fight Cancer

Expo this Saturday in Ashburn will benefit Susan G. Komen foundation.

Jazzercise and Williams Martial Arts & Fitness in Ashburn have planned a dance-fitness and shopping expo this weekend in Ashburn to raise funds for Susan G. Komen, the cancer research and awareness foundation.

The event runs Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Williams Martial Arts & Fitness, 43930 Farmwell Hunt Plaza (No. 126), in Ashburn. Classes will be offered in Burlesque by Jazzercise, self-defense with 8th degree black belt Shihan Williams, and Street Funk with choreographer and aerobic champion Tim Roberts; a $25 donation will be requested. In addition, the following vendors will participate in the shopping expo: Mary Kay, Nutrilite, Pampered Chef, Paparazzi, Thirty-one Bags and Usborne Books. Finally, a silent auction will offer items from Cascades Chiropractic, Clyde’s, Nerium, Radiance Salon & Medi-Spa and American Girl. Refreshments are being donated by Buffalo Wing Factory, Chantel’s Bakery and Potbelly’s.

All proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen. Jazzercise instructor and benefit organizer Karen Mouser said the Susan G. Komen foundation would use the donations for research, community outreach, education, advocacy and global work.
