Leesburg Christmas Tree Lighting:
 Dec. 6, 6 p.m., Town Green, 25 W Market Street. Come see local elementary and high schools perform, hear words from the mayor, council and guest speaker, and join in a sing-long. Local businesses will be open late.

Lovettsville Christkindlmarkt: Dec. 6, 7; 10 a.m., at the Lovettsville Game Protective Association, 16 South Berlin Turnpike, in Lovettsville. The Loudoun Valley German Society is sponsoring the sixth annual traditional European Christmas market. The hours of the market are Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More info.

Loudoun Chorale Presents "Hodie" and "The Joys of Christmas":  The Loudoun Chorale, under the direction of William Propst and accompanied by Beverly Clark and chamber ensemble, will perform “Hodie” by Z.
