703-729-0006
Ashburn Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co. 6 was established in 1944, the year after two Ashburn area children died in a fire. Volunteers built, own and still operate the station, which still relies on donations to function. Career firefighters, hired by the county, help man the station during the week. The department is part of Loudoun County Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services. The station is located along Ashburn Road near Hay Road and the W&OD Trail.
