AVOID THIS PLACE - Get your eyeglasses some place else. Ordered my progressive lenses on 04/09/2011. CUSTOMER SERVICE EXTREMELY POOR. I requested a refund after redoing the lenses several times over 5 months and the Ashburn office staff is trying all means to delay and drag this process. Their strategy is to blame the lab that is grinding the lenses, your insurance company and then you the customer.

great physician but when picking out my daughters glasses they were very sales-pitchy and pressuring (not the physician, but the sales person at the Ashburn, VA office) We finally chose a pair of overpriced frames and were told we would have them in 3-5 days. 5 days came and went and still no glasses, on the 7th day we were told they would be delivered the next day. The next day they were delivered to the wrong location, supposedly. Tomorrow is day #10 (5-7 days later than we were told) and hopefully we will have them. On a whim we called LensCrafters and got a quote on the same pair, they said they could have them ready in a few HOURS for $200 less. Now I know why they make you prepay with no refunds. Go to Dr Bermel's for the physicians but avoid everything else
I'm really surprised that the other reviews were so poor since my exam was one of the best and thorough exams I've ever had and I've had many. This Dr really knows his stuff and I was very impressed. I will definitely recommend this Dr. to my friends. I had such a fun time selecting my frames!! The girl that worked with me was so helpful and I'm so greatful I found this eye dr.
