The food was good. I had the short ribs and my wife had the chicken tenders. I'd recommend both. The service was average and I could sense this was the first waiter job for the young lady waiting on us. It was the first week they were open. The reason for only 3 stars is that there is a cigar bar associated to the restaurant and where I sat, you had a distinct cigiar oder. I really don't want that while I'm eating. I'm not sure if they don't have enough ventilation or what the problem is, but the odor was enough to keep me from coming back.

Thought it was a great restaurant. The food was really good and the staff was friendly and genuinely seemed to care that we had a good experience.

I highly recommend the tater pup appetizer - what can be bad about fried mashed potatoes?! The spinach and artichoke dip was really good too - the warm dip was different than any I've ever had. The chips it came with weren't greasy or burnt and held up well to the dip.

They have a great wine list and the servings are very generous.

There are a few bumps still to work out, but overall I think this is going to be a much-loved addition to the Asburn restaurant scene.

Kobe burger was good, next time I will try the build your own salad and will save room for dessert. If your kids think a grilled cheese needs to be made with American cheese not Vermont cheddar - you may have the same issues we did. (But it tasted great to me.) Definitely give it a try.

Food is good, although not as good as Blue Ridge, which is there unofficial competitor based on the menu in my opinion. The chicken madeira (sic?) is great, the kobe burger is good, the bbq ribs were not tender and didn't fall off the bone like BRG and the sauce was very spicy. The deviled eggs were good, as was the tater tots. The staff is very friendly and casual. The draft beers could be expanded, not a big selection. Will defintely be back and hope the few kinks get ironed out over the coming weeks. Looking forward to outdoor seating.
