Two men are in custody on charges related to the Dec. 16 incident on Gannon Way.
Two men from Sterling are in custody related to a Dec. 16 shooting on Gannon Way in CountrySide, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. A 19-year-old Sterling man has been charged in connection with the December 16th shooting at a home in the CountrySide community. Authorities apprehended Victor D. Lassiter, 19, of Sterling, Dec. 17 without incident and charged him with robbery, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony and malicious wounding. Officers also conducted a search of his home on Gable Square. Authorities located a second suspect, Marquis R. The suspect is alleged to have used Facebook to communicate with students from Lunsford, Mercer middle schools.
An Aldie man was arrested and charged Oct. 24 with five counts of using a computer to solicit a child under 15, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. Someone on the Mercer Middle School staff alerted a member of the LCSO’s School Resource Officer Unit about suspicious activity on a student’s Facebook account. The student had accepted a “friend request” from someone she believed to be another middle school student named “Kyle Kirts.” According to the LCSO report, parents of the student learned that “Kirts” solicited sexual activity from her and they contacted school staff in October. The Colombian man was tracked down in Hamilton and is being held on gang-related charges, an ICE detainer.
Loudoun County law enforcement officers took a 23-year-old Colombian man into custody in Hamilton Feb. 1 in relation to a reported Sept. 21, 2007, “gang assault” in Ashburn, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. Victor M. Hernandez-Suaza was the last remaining suspect from the 2007 incident on the 21000 block of Lowry Park Terrace in the Ashburn Meadows apartment complex. Eleven suspects were identified in total, all of whom have now been arrested. Deputies from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office last week arrested Jose L. Rivera-Laboy and charged him in the December kidnapping of a teenager in which he allegedly posed as a police officer. As a 16-year-old girl walked with a friend along East Dartmouth Drive around 4 p.m. Dec. 14, two female acquaintances and an unknown male approached them, according to an LCSO press release. The 16-year-old had previously had a conflict with one of the females who approached. The male identified himself as a cop and showed the victim a firearm he carried in his waistband. Investigators with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office have charged an Alexandria man and a Sterling teenager in connection with the Dec. 31 armed robbery of the Fairfield Inn and Suites on Indian Creek Drive in Dulles. On Jan. 10, deputies charged Cesar A. Pisconte Jr., 21, was charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and participating in a criminal act to benefit a gang. A 15-year-old who was not identified was apprehended Jan. 13 and charged as a juvenile with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and participating in a criminal act to benefit a gang. Loudoun County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tajh K. Washington and charged him with burglary and grand larceny in relation to an apartment burglary on the 20800 block of Wallingford Square that occurred June 23. Charges related to a second burglary in the same complex. Washington allegedly entered the home for which he is charged on June 23, where jewelry and an iPod were reported stolen. The second burglary in the complex took place June 27. In that case, the resident reported damage to their front door upon returning from out of town. Jewelry was reported missing in that case. Washington is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

A teenager from Sterling was charged June 9 in a vandalism case in which he allegedly spray-painted the number ‘68’ on numerous vehicles in Ashburn, Leesburg and Sterling. Deputies from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office charged Christopher W. Bolt, 18, in the case. More than 50 vehicles were painted with that number or some variation of it between April 30 and June 7, according to an LCSO press release. No significant meaning to the number ‘68’ was found during the investigation, and it appears the suspect acted alone, accorrding to the release. The incidents are not believed to be gang-related. The final suspect sought in a botched Feb. 10 home invasion during which two perpetrators were shot has been taken into custody, according the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. A resident spotted Samuel Thomas Eaton, 27, riding a bicycle along Sterling Boulevard March 1 and called the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies reported to the area and arrested Eaton without incident, according to a report from the Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with robbery, burglary and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony. On Feb. 10, three men entered a home on the 1200 block of E. Authorities Tuesday caught up to the shaggy-haired man they believe robbed six shops in the region, including in his hometown of Ashburn. Investigators in Fairfax and Loudoun counties arrested Ashburn resident Sean Mabry, 29, and charged him in the July and September armed robberies of a Hair Cuttery, Cash & Carry convenience store and CC Hair Salon in Fairfax County.
