Misguided Angels celebrated its first anniversary in style, combining its milestone with the recent grand opening of the Virginia Wine Factory, a neighboring business in the Brambleton Town Center. Leigh MacDonald, NBC News 4’s style guru, emceed a fashion show, which took place at the Wine Factory and featured the new looks currently on racks at the boutique. With wine in hand, guests watched young girls and women walk the catwalk (a.k.a., Virginia Wine Factory’s hardwood floor) as the models showed off trendy shoes, clothes, handbags and accessories. Misguided Angels, as the name implies, intends to turn fashion in Ashburn on its head. A grand opening event is planned at 5:00pm Oct. 2 with refreshments, prizes and discounts. Specializing in women's apparel, shoes, jewelry and handbags, the store's chic décor is as attractive as its merchandise.
