Loudoun Grown Event Showcases Rural Economy, Purcellville
Third annual Loudoun Grown Expo has grown exponentially each year and promised more vendors this year.
More vendors have signed on than ever for what Purcellville Mayor Bob Lazaro anticipates will be the biggest Loudoun Grown Expo yet. In its third year, the expo runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Bush Tabernacle in the town. “The first year, we had about 1,000 people attend, the second year, about 2,000,” Lazaro said. “This year we are expecting many more.” The event, organized by the Town of Purcellville, provides an opportunity to “showcase what makes Loudoun unique and what makes Purcellville a great place to live and work,” Lazaro said, adding that attendees may notice some changes this year to make the event bigger and better.
