Family Activities Kick Off The Fall Season
Weekend activities abound in or just a short drive from Ashburn, following this year's autumnal equinox. Here our our picks for the weekend, but please check out the calendar for other ideas. Dulles Day Family Festival and Plane Pull benefits the Special Olympics Virginia. During the pull teams compete to see which can pull a commercial airplane across a stretch of tarmac the fastest. The festival also offers a car show, aircraft displays, exhibits, games and rides in the Kids Corner, live music and concessions. The 2010 Temple Hall Farm Corn Maize and Fall Festival opens at 6:00pm on Friday, with activities every weekend through Nov. 7.
