Loudoun Sheriff’s Deputies apprehended a man after receiving reports of a suspicious person looking inside and entering vehicles on the 22000 block of Manning Square between midnight and 3:49 a.m. July 10. After searching the area, deputies located a male who attempted to flee on foot. The suspect, identified as Sterling resident Tyler D. Hoskinson, 23, who was taken into custody and was charged with grand larceny and petit larceny. He was released on a $2,500 bond. Other incidents reported from the Loudoun Sheriff's Eastern Station:

On the evening of June 23, a male victim reported that several unknown men approached him as he walked along 420 block of Enterprise Street. One of the men alledegly brandished a knife, while two of the others attempted to assault him, according to the report. On June 27, a 27-year-old Sterling man reported he was robbed about two weeks earlier along the 300 block of Enterprise Street. The victim reported that an unknown subject approached him around 9:30 p.m. June 14, brandished a sharp object and demanded the victim’s cell phone. Larceny, destruction of property dominate this week's update from the Eastern Loudoun Sheriff's Station.
On Monday morning, June 27, a 2-year-old boy fell from a window on Trumpet Circle. The child appeared to only have minor injuries after the fall at around 8:20 a.m., but was airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital as a precaution.
