The annual event will be open Friday through Sunday from Sept. 28 to Oct. 14 and features a number of new activities and events.
Temple Hall Farm Regional Park will kick off its 13th annual Corn Maize and Fall Festival on Friday, Sept. 28. This year’s theme is in celebration of the Girl Scouts' 100th anniversary, which is portrayed in the 24-acre maize. Farm manager John Moore said that there is a lot more to look forward to during the two-week event. “We are going to be open during the day on Fridays where in the past we’ve just been open on the weekends and on Friday afternoons,” Moore said. “This year we’ll be open starting at 10 a.m. on Fridays and all of our activities that were normally only on the weekend are also available during the day on Friday.” Among them are the corn canons, pumpkin blasters and paint ball games. Peddle car and inflatable horse races …
