New movies this week: Cowboys and Aliens; Crazy, Stupid, Love are featured in local theaters this weekend. Donned in patriotic red, white and blue, the government's ultimate superhero hits theaters all over Loudoun this weekend with Captain America: The First Avenger. Also new this week is the date movie Friends With Benefits, starring Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake. Plenty of popular family pleasers remain at theaters as well, from Winnie the Pooh and the final chapter in the Harry Potter series to Cars 2 and Zookeeper. Big fans of Harry Potter pulled out their favorite Hogwart costumes and headed to the movie theater last night for the midnight opening of the final episode in the series – “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.” Since 2001, with the introduction of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, J.K. Rowling’s novels have become blockbuster hits. The series of eight movies has been quite successful at the box office with worldwide gross earnings of more than $6 billion.
