Loudoun Habitat Dressing Up and Having a Ball

Money raised by the Masquerade Ball and Silent Auction goes back to the community, helping local people in need build a home of their own.

For the second year, Loudoun Habitat for Humanity has planned a Masquerade Ball and Silent Auction. The cocktail hour starts at 6 p.m., providing guests with an opportunity to mingle and bid on the long list of silent auction items. The cocktail hour will be followed by a seated dinner and dancing to the music of Pebble to Pearl, a local group that was well-received at last year’s event.  Established in 1993, Loudoun Habitat has built or rehabilitated 21 houses in Loudoun County, serving about 80 people. During the past two to three years, Habitat has built three new homes in western Loudoun in the Village of St. Louis, just north of Middleburg, and purchased, rehabbed and resold six foreclosed properties in the eastern part of the county…
