Suspicious Woman Reported, Man Charged

Contributing to the delinquency of a minor incident among reports from the Sheriff's East County Station.

Sunday evening deputies responded to East Severn Way for a report of a female attempting to get a 16-year-old male into a car. A sheriff’s deputy found a vehicle matching the description given by the victim and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy discovered the driver was a male dressed in women's clothing. Deputies charged Jose H. Mejia-Ulloa, 41, of Herndon, VA, with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was being held on a $5000 secured bond. Other incident throughout the week:

Larceny From Cars Among Latest Incidents

A series of thefts from and damage to vehicles continued during the past week, with several reports from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office South Station. In addition, a bicycle was taken from a pool on Parish Street.

The weekly roundup of illegal activity reported by the Sheriff's Office.

Eastern Loudoun Station Larceny: Alcohol was reported taken from an open garage on the 20500 block of Straham Way between 10 p.m. Feb. 22 and 7:15 a.m. Feb. 23. Burglary: An unknown subject entered a business after hours on the 45700 block of Elmwood Court at 9:13 p.m. No objects were reported taken. Robbery/Assault: Two unknown subjects were in the same vehicle as the complainant on the 1400 block of Beech Road between 1:15 a.m. and 1:28 a.m. Feb. 24. One of the subjects hit the complainant in the head with a beer bottle and took $700 from him. Larceny: A knife was removed from an unlocked vehicle on the 20400 block of Tappahannock Place between 11:30 p.m. Feb. 23 and 6:30 a.m. Feb. 24. Larceny: A Bluetooth device was taken from a vehicle…

Update of local incidents in Ashburn and surrounding areas

Eastern Loudoun Station Destruction of Property: A driver side window was reported damaged on a vehicle at the intersection of Leatherleaf Drive and Trumpet Circle between 9 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Dec. 15. A second vehicle reported its left passenger window damaged in the same area. DUI/Child Endangerment: Deputies responded to the intersection of Blossom Drive and Waterloo Station Square at 1:24 a.m. on Dec. 16 after a report of a vehicle that had crashed into several parked cars. The driver, Jose A. Acosta-Monterroza, 30, of Sterling, was charged with DUI, driving without a license, unauthorized use of a vehicle and child endangerment. Pointing BB guns at deputies, attempted assault and an ICE detainee are among the items in this week's report

Eastern Loudoun Station Federal Detainee: A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for malfunctioning equipment on the 100 block of Commerce Street at 10:07 p.m. Dec. 8. The driver, Hernon Bautista-Nieto, 42, of Greenbelt, MD was determined to have an outstanding administrative warrant of removal from the United States through ICE. Bautista-Nieto remains held at the Loudoun County Sheriff's Adult Detention Center. Auto Theft: A 2005 Nissan Murano was reported taken from the 46300 block of Shell Terrace between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 7 and 7:32 a.m. Dec. 8. The vehicle was left unlocked with the key inside.
