Ashburn Crime Report

A robbery, a suspicious vehicle and several larcenies were reported in the community during the past week.

Robbery A 23-year-old Ashburn resident reported that he was assaulted and robbed of cash by several suspects at 7:20 p.m. June 18 on the 44200 block of Pawnee Terr. According to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects are believed to be known by the victim and all are involved in an ongoing dispute. Suspicious Vehicle A blue convertible Saab with Florida tags appeared to be following a female juvenile at 1 p.m. June 18 in the area of Laburnum Square and Summerwood Cir., according to a report filed with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. The person making the report described the passengers of the Saab as a white male and a white female in their 30s to 40s. No attempt to verbally or physically contact the girl was …

Crime Report: Stolen Credit Cards Used, Multiple Vehicles Tampered

Check out this week's update from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office University Station.

Someone used credit cards to make several purchases after taking them from a vehicle just before 7 a.m. June 3. The victim first alerted the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office after discovering the wallet was missing from the unsecured vehicle, which was parked on the 43800 block of Thornberry Square. The glove compartment was damaged. There are also several other incidents involving attempts to enter vehicles listed below. Other incidents throughout the week:

Crime Report: Lansdowne Man Chases Suspect from Neighbor's Garage

Check out this week's update from the Loudoun Sheriff's Office University Station.

A Lansdowne resident chased a suspected burglar away from a neighbor's home in Lansdowne, but only after several items were taken. The resident, walking a dog at the time,  observed a stranger in a neighbor's garage wearing a motorcycle helmet on the 43700 block of Riverpoint Drive at 11:50 p.m. June 1. The resident confronted the subject, who then fled on foot. After a brief chase, during which the subject turned around and brandished a firearm, the suspect ran to a black pick-up truck driven by another unknown male. A motorcycle helmet, a leaf blower and a weed wacker were reported missing from the garage. Incident throughout the week:

Eastern Loudoun Station Larceny: Alcohol was reported taken from an open garage on the 20500 block of Straham Way between 10 p.m. Feb. 22 and 7:15 a.m. Feb. 23. Burglary: An unknown subject entered a business after hours on the 45700 block of Elmwood Court at 9:13 p.m. No objects were reported taken. Robbery/Assault: Two unknown subjects were in the same vehicle as the complainant on the 1400 block of Beech Road between 1:15 a.m. and 1:28 a.m. Feb. 24. One of the subjects hit the complainant in the head with a beer bottle and took $700 from him.
