Investigators have released a composite sketch for a second suspect in the reported April 16 home invasion and robbery of a Taylorstown family in Loudoun. The new sketch along with a previous sketch that has been updated provides the public with images of two of four suspects. The sketches show two white men; the other two suspects are black. All were believed to be driving a gold or tan SUV, possibly a 2003 Nissan Murano. The suspect in the new composite sketch is described as 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, weighing 170s pounds, in his mid-20s and having strawberry blonde hair. Investigators continue to seek information about the suspects in the case, which occurred in Taylorstown.
Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office detectives on Thursday released a composite sketch one suspect involved in Tuesday’s reported home invasion robbery in the area of Taylorstown, which is north of Leesburg. Investigators have released descriptions of all four suspects as well as the vehicle they drove, a gold or tan Nissan SUV, possibly a 2003 Nissan Murano, or some similar vehicle. LCSO deputies responded to a home on the 13400 block of Loyalty Road around 11:30 a.m. April 16 someone from the five-member family contacted authorities. Fairfax County Police worked with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office to arrest a Reston man Monday for his alleged involvement in the February robbery of the Bank of America in the Regal Plaza in the Countryside area, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said. Investigators believe Tevin D. Morris, 21, of Reston, is the man alleged who entered the bank shortly after 11 a.m. on Feb. 14 and handed the teller a note implying he had a weapon. The note demanded cash and the suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said they were able to identify the suspect with the assistance of several tips from the public. LCSO seeks help identifying suspect in Valentine’s Day holdup in CountrySide.
A man walked into the Bank of America at the Regal Plaza shopping center in CountrySide shortly after 11 a.m. today, handed a teller a note and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office reported early Thursday afternoon. Investigators are now on the scene in Sterling, where the suspect – described as a 6-foot black man with a goatee, wearing sunglasses and a black and gray hat bearing the number 686 – implied to the teller that he possessed a weapon. It's not clear if the suspect was in fact armed. Witnesses said the man also wore a heavy black jacket and a black shirt during the holdup. Ashburn teen and two men from Sterling were arrested in Herndon.
Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office deputies have charged three suspects in connection with a Sterling area robbery reported Jan. 16. Deputies responded to the 48000 block of Shaw Road around 2:30 p.m. where an 18-year-old male reported that three men – one reportedly armed – in a vehicle robbed him, according to an LCSO report. The victim reported that his smart phone and wallet were taken. Investigators later determined the robbery took place on Saynamkhan Court and might have been drug-related, according to the report. Personnel with the Herndon Police Department located the suspects’ vehicle in Herndon and took all three into custody. Jean Bertrand Ehounoud, 20, of Sterling, and Steven D. Judge gives man 15 years for involvement in robberies in Ashburn and Sterling.
Loudoun County Circuit Court Judge Thomas D. Horne on Monday sentenced Cesar Augusto Pisconte Jr., 21, to 15 years in prison for four felonies related to robberies in Ashburn and Sterling. The felonies include two counts of robbery, criminal street gang participation and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Pisconte, a member of the 18th Street gang, confessed to participating in both robberies as part of gang “missions.” “Gang activity will not be tolerated in our community,” said Commonwealth’s Attorney Jim Plowman. “If you choose to associate with gangs and participate in violent crimes such as these, you should be prepared to pay a steep price.” The first incident occurred Dec. 24, 2011, when Pisconte and gang members …

Harris Teeter has pledged up to $50,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest and indictment of two masked men who robbed grocery chain’s Stone Ridge location near Aldie early Tuesday morning. The two men walked into the store around 2:20 a.m. July 17 brandishing firearms, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. One employee was pushed to the ground, but was not injured during the robbery. The suspects then forced their way into two registers and took an undisclosed amount of money. LCSO investigators seek two armed and masked men in early morning incident.
Two armed, masked men walked into the Stone Ridge Harris Teeter near Chantilly early this morning and took money from cash registers, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. The men entered the store around 2:20 a.m. July 17 and displayed firearms for employees present before pushing one to the ground, according to LCSO. The employee was not injured. Four armed people entered a home on the 21000 block of Gladstone Drive in Sterling through an unlocked basement door and demanded cash from a 32-year-old occupant late Thursday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. In what the LCSO called a “home invasion-style” robbery, two of the four suspects carried guns, while the other two carried baseball bats. All four suspects wore dark hoodies and covered their faces. After reportedly obtaining a small amount of cash, the suspects fled without injuring the victim.
