Missing Teen Found in Leesburg

Fourteen-year-old girl was located Saturday by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The last of a trio of missing teens was found safe Saturday in the Town of Leesburg. Zandi Englebrecht, 14, was discovered by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, deputies said in a press release Monday. She was one of three teen girls reported missing Jan.9, when they apaprently disappeared from a county facility in the area of Meadowview Court.  Evelyn Diaz and Stephanie Thomas, were both located in Leesburg on Tuesday night. The two were not together when they were located, but previously had been staying together in Leesburg.

I am glad to learn all 3 teens were found to be in good health and safe. It is no longer a safe world for girls their age to be on their own. I' m sure their parents or guardians were relieved when notified each girl had been found.   more ›

Help Sought Locating Two ‘Endangered’ Ashburn Teens

The two may be traveling together in a 1999 white Honda Accord with Virginia tags.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has issued a request for any information regarding two missing Ashburn teenagers who are considered “endangered.” Adam Van Alstyne, 17, and Hope A. Jager, 16, were last seen June 8 going to bed in their respective homes, according to a report from the Sheriff’s Office. The next morning both were gone. Deputies believe the two, who are in a relationship, left together sometime during the night and likely are driving a 1999 white Honda Accord with license tags ADH-4643 or XNC-1278. The Sheriff’s Office has identified them as dangerous because of statements the two made about their wellbeing. Anyone with any information about the teens is asked to contact Investigator M.
