Ladies Board Seeks Applicants for Nursing Scholarships
Application deadline is April 10; applicants must live or work in Loudoun and be enrolled in an accredited college.
The Ladies Board of Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking Loudoun County residents or Loudoun County employees to apply for a nursing scholarship. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 10. The Ladies Board has been awarding nursing scholarships since 1959 when an initial sixteen scholarships were awarded. Last year, they awarded 77 scholarships in amounts from $700 to $1,800, including two special scholarship awards of $5,000 each to celebrate Inova Loudoun's 100th Anniversary. Through the sales at the Hospital Gift Shop and Twice Is Nice Thrift Shop in Leesburg, the Lights of Love Remembrance program and its annual Rummage Sale, the Ladies Board is able to help the community and Inova Loudoun Hospital provide educations, in addition …
