The 5th annual Taste of Greece is set for this weekend at the Ashburn Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department's station, 20688 Ashburn Road, in Old Ashburn. And while the junior and senior dance troupes will each perform multiple times throughout the weekend, there are four opportunities to learn to a Greek dance (see attached dance schedule). The accompanying video was made during the January 2011 Taste of Greece. Want to sample the goods without leaving your car? Try the curbside …

Greek food and culture were on display at The Greek Orthodox Parish of Loudoun County’s A Taste of Greece this weekend. The Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department opened its Founder’s Hall for the three-day event. Dancing music and lots of great food were all part of the festivities. Kids of all ages performed traditional Greek dances, dressed for their parts. The event marked the third Taste by the parish, which also holds a Greek Festival at its facility on Atlantic Boulevard in Dulles. There’s no charge to attend the festival, so mark your calendars.
