Barracudas Best BlueFins at Barrington

On June 22, the first full day of summer, the Barracudas posted a resounding win over the Barrington BlueFins with a 246 to 193 win. Congratulations to the coaches and swimmers on an outstanding debut performance for the 2013 Colonial Swim League season!

The strongest age bracket for the Barracudas this week was the 13-14 Girls who captured 32 out of a possible 36 points. This group also won their medley relay. The 9-10 Boys and the 15-18 Boys brackets followed closely with 29 out of 36 points each, they also won their relays.

Overall, the top point getters for the Barracudas Girls were Brooke Matthias who took 15 points, winning every time she got in the pool, and Alyssa Coon who took 11 points. Avery Hiller and Riley Jackman took 10 points apiece.

Among the boys, the top point getters were Alexander Misiaszek and Charlie Swain who swept all three of the events they entered and took 15 points apiece. Michael Kost took 11 points and Matthew Detweiler took 10 points.

The Barracudas also won six of the 12 relays.
