Curious Greenway Wall Part of Future Plans

WP's Dr. Gridlock column discusses the 'handball court.'

Many regular users of the Dulles Greenway have noticed the solitary white wall that was constructed several months back in median near one of the future Metro stations. The isolated wall looks a bit like a concrete version of the black monolith from the movies 2001 and 2010.

The Greenway’s Tom Sines explained to Dr. Gridlock that the wall would be part of a bridge over the Greenway for Barrister Street, and was constructed early because engineers determined it would be easier to build it in advance of Metro’s planned Silver Line.
