More Than A Dozen Loudoun Businesses On Inc. Fastest-Growth List

More than a dozen Loudoun County-based businesses made Inc. Magazine’s list of the nation’s 5,000 fastest-growing companies. 

In all, 14 Loudoun companies made the list, including three based in Leesburg.

“These great businesses truly illustrate why Leesburg is a great place to grow a business as well as a family,” said Marantha Edwards, Leesburg’s Economic Development Director, in a press release from the town. “We have worked hard to foster an entrepreneur-friendly business culture here in Leesburg.”

A Loudoun IT consulting company called iQuasar scored the highest of the county’s businesses at No. 276, with 1,568 percent growth.

“On behalf of the Board of Supervisors, I’d like to congratulate all of the Loudoun companies on the Inc. list,” said Loudoun Board of Supervisors Chairman Scott K. York (R-At Large) in a county press release. “The growth shown by these companies is something that all of Loudoun can be proud of.”

Buddy Rizer, the acting director of the Loudoun County Department of Economic Development, said the industries of the companies selected show that Loudoun draws a high-quality business within its borders.

“Six of the 14 Loudoun companies on Inc.’s list are in the government services sector, three are in IT, one is in cyber-security and another is in telecommunications,” Rizer said in the county release. “These thriving businesses show that companies in these sectors find Loudoun to be an ideal business location. Any company that could benefit from proximity to the same markets, or to allied organizations, should contact us to discuss the opportunities Loudoun would offer them.”
