Police: Gun Unintentionally Fired Into Neighbor's Home

Resident found shower door damaged, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

A Sterling man has been charged after he accidentally fired a gun into his neighbor's home, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Gabriel Gonzalez Reyes, 24, of the 1040 block of Margate Court, was charged April 2 with reckless handling of a firearm. He was released on a summons.

Deputies claim Reyes unintentionally fired his gun, striking a nearby home March 28. The resident found that his shower door had been damaged and the spent round was found in the room, according to deputies.
