Victims told investigators they were trying to assist the suspect when they found him in a field, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies have arrested a man accused of stabbing two acquaintances Friday afternoon, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Tanade A. Warsame, 21, of Sterling, was charged with robbery, malicious wounding and two counts of assault and battery.

"Warsame then chased the group and grabbed the female’s purse and a fight ensued as law enforcement arrived on the scene."

The victims, a 21-year-old male and a 22-year-old male, were taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Warsame is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
